Malawi : Pastor Moses is a church pastor, leading lots of people to the Lord and helping to run discipleship programmes. We hope to spend some time learning from him.
Malawi : Vision and Fire, Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Jose and Naara are working in Monkey Bay, training leaders, building churches and facilitating local farming projects.
Mozambique : Iris Ministries is led by Heidi & Roland Baker. They are passionate about seeing God's kingdom fill this earth. We are excited at the opportunity to serve on a team for two weeks & be challenged & equipped in our perspectives of life.
Zimbabwe : Family Impact is a Christian Faith-based organisation which supports Christians and churches by promoting the beauty and transforming power of God's plan for family life and relationships. They are a grassroots and networking organisation. They both implement the programmes at ground level with schools, churches, local and international organisations to facilitate the use of their resources to see lasting behaviour change. We hope to spend about 7 weeks at this project.
South Africa : Vineyard Churches. Churches that are reaching out, serving the poor and the lost. We're excited to learn from how they 'do' church and hope to learn from the different ministries and outreach projects. These are based in Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town.
South Africa : Ikhaya le Temba - sunshine through the night, home of hope - a small NGO birthed out of a Vineyard Church in Cape Town in 2004. They offer holistic care for children affected by HIV and AIDS in Imizamo Yethu, Cape Town. They aim to develop a model of care that will benefit children throughout the Western Cape. We hope to spend a few weeks visiting this project.
